What a peaceful place!

The place was just what it sounds like. A nice beautiful house in a very peaceful little village. We had farm animals next door and every morning you could here the local farmer with his horse going down the street. Wonderful! The scenery is absolutely magnificient. We visited all the major lakes on the island and Sete Cidades has the most impressive location. The house itself is in great condition, we had some trouble with the gas for the warm water running out but it was nothing major. All the people in the village greeted us and although we didn't have a common language everyone was friendly and nice. And the place was only 30km from Ponta Delgada. Only 24e and 30min in a taxi, less than an hour in a bus (roughly 3e/person). We would come back anyday! Thanks for everything!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et très paisible dans cette maison traditionnelle. Le coin est magnifique et la maison (nous avions celle de devant) est suffisament grande pour 6 personnes.

A Casa das Pedras foi-me aconselhada por uma amiga. Além da beleza, encontrei conforto e segurança para as minhas crianças e a extrema simpatia dos proprietários. As férias em São Miguem foram fantásticas! Irei sempre lá voltar!
