This beach is one of the best on the Algarve. It is horseshoe in shape with a full stretch of fine sand perfect for children,at low tide both ends of the beach provide rock pools to explore. There is a large friendly beach bar for drinks and snacks during the day,in the evenings full meals are served. It is possible to hire shades and loungers from the life guards who patrol the beach.The village contains various restaurants.
